For our Minds Behind Organ-on-Chip series Minds Behind Organ-on-Chip, we had the opportunity to speak to Dr. Mark Gresnigt, Junior Research Group Leader of the Adaptive Pathogenicity Strategies group at the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology in Germany. He is working on the host pathogen interactions during the infection with the yeast Candida albicans in gut- and vaginal mucosa-on-chip models.
