We had the opportunity to speak to Dr. Puja Pandey, a Postdoc from the Büttner Group at Hannover Medical School in Germany. She is working on different animal alternatives to establish a system that mimics intestinal morphology and function to understand epithelial regeneration after infection and treatment.
