🔬 Roberta Visone: R&D Science Leader at BiomimX® Srl. Roberta earned her PhD in Bioengineering from Politecnico di Milano, specializing in advanced platforms to model physiological and pathological cardiac features. At BiomimX, she leads the R&D biological team, coordinating the development and qualification of organ-on-chip models for drug discovery, screening studies, and regulatory applications.
🔬 Dr. Thomas Sommermann: Senior Scientist at Dynamic42 GmbH in Jena. With a strong background in immunology and advanced cytometry, Thomas has led FACS and immunomonitoring platforms at the Leibniz Institute and conducted over nine years of research at the Max Delbrück Center. His expertise spans immune cell polarization, infection biology, and translating complex cellular models into impactful preclinical tools.
🔬 Anthony Heng: Scientist III at Emulate, Inc. Tony develops organ-on-chip models and generates key biological validation data to support the adoption of Emulate’s next-generation platforms in drug development. With a background in biomedical and tissue engineering, he bridges engineering and biology to accelerate therapeutic innovation.
