Marty Steiger joins Dynamic42 as Applications Specialist
We are delighted to announce that Marty Steiger has recently joined Dynamic42 as an application’s specialist. Marty is from Australia originally and brings along a remarkable background in microphysiological systems.
He completed a dual masters of Biofabrication at the University of Utrecht and the Queensland University of Technology, where he developed 3D in vitro disease models for meniscal repair and degenerative disc disease. Subsequently, Marty worked for Cellbricks GmbH in Berlin, where he directed development of liver, gut, lung and skin models for therapeutic screening and viral host modeling. Marty has also founded companies in the regenerative medicine and longevity space and believes in the power of microphysiological systems to expedite the translation of therapies to the clinic, and unlock our understanding of fundamental biological processes.
I'm passionate about harnessing the power of microphysiological systems to bridge the gap between innovative research and clinical impact. Joining Dynamic42 enables me to drive forward the translation of breakthroughs into tangible improvements for human health.
We warmly welcome Marty to the Dynamic42 team!
