The hu­man in vit­ro mi­cro­phys­i­o­log­i­cal mod­els cre­ated and of­fered by Dy­nam­ic42 GmbH can ad­dress this need. They are com­posed of a blood ves­sel struc­ture on the one hand and an or­gan-spe­cific tis­sue on the oth­er. The per­fu­sion of the blood ves­sel com­part­ment al­lows the for­ma­tion of an in vivo-like mi­croen­vi­ron­ment. Our abil­ity to per­fuse and in­te­grate tis­sue-res­i­dent im­mune cells into our mod­els en­ables us to de­tect side ef­fects that can­not be de­tected by con­ven­tional sys­tems.
