Project target
The combination of two human in vitro organ models, liver and intestine model, into a two-organ model for preclinical drug testing will be established within the scope of this project. This includes the characterisation and validation of the organ models alone and in combination, and the verification of their usability for ADMET studies using selected “orally” applied active substances. This further development should lead the two-organ model to market maturity.
