Learn how to successfully integrate organ-on-chip models into your lab with the Dynamic42 Academy. This hands-on course combines intensive practical training using Dynamic42 technology with concise theory sessions led by experts in the field, giving you direct access to our scientists, in‑depth protocols, and plenty of time at the equipment to address your specific applications. Small group sizes ensure highly personalized learning so you leave confident in applying the technology independently. Designed for scientists in pharmacology, toxicology, oncology, pulmonology, drug development, experimental virology, and related fields, the Academy also offers relaxed evening socials to exchange ideas and build lasting professional connections.
/ Theoretical lecture on organ-on-chip technology by industry experts
/ Sterilization and coating of biochips
/ Seeding of cells in biochips
/ Perfusion set-up with all necessary microfluidic parts
/ Medium exchange and sampling of organ model
/ Imaging of models via Immunofluorescence with different antibodies
/ Seeding of endothelial cells in biochips
/ Cleaning of biochip equipment
/ Troubleshooting of experiments
/ Medium exchange on static biochips
/ Permeability assays
+ some excellent lunches and evening activities to mingle with other participants and our scientists.
This course can be taken without any prior knowledge of organ-on-chip technology.
Topic: Cancer cells do not live on a plate. They are suspended in a 3D matrix where they interact with immune cells, fibroblasts and the vascular network. In vitro organ model allow us to recreate this complex tumor microenvironment. Learn how to set up cancer and immune cell interaction on a biochip using organ-on-chip technology.
/ Basic handling techniques of the Dynamic42 biochip
/ Integrate spheroids or organoids in a perfused vascular network within the biochip
/ Practice to embed and grow tumor structures in a 3D hydrogel inside a biochip
/ Observe immune cell invasion into a tumor via life imaging
/ Monitor how perfusion impacts all of these effects
+ some excellent lunches and evening activities to mingle with other participants and our scientists.
